WATERSPRINGS RANCH
Homes for children in need.
ABOUT
Located in Texarkana, Arkansas, Watersprings Ranch provides Christian based, long-term residential group homes for children in need who have been abused, neglected and abandoned. Although licensed by the state, we are a privately funded non-profit organization made possible through the generous support of our donors and volunteers.
Unique in our approach, we accept children from birth through 12 years old and provide care until the age of 18. Each of our homes functions as a family unit, ensuring children are provided with the best chance to succeed and live a full life.
OUR PROGRAMS
Our programs provide tailored education, extracurricular activities, individual and group therapies, as well as special needs services to those children who need them. Each child is loved and encouraged to reach their potential while receiving excellent services in an accepting and safe home for children in need.

In 1984, David and Carla Whatley dreamed of starting a home to provide hope and security to abused, neglected, unwanted and behaviorally challenged children. After living as foster care parents for two years, the couple decided to expand their reach to help more children, opening their first home for children in need in September of 1989.
